You know how sometimes a game's release gets delayed?

Yeah,that.

The official reason is always the same:

“To improve the quality!”

But let's be honest?most gamers are probably thinking:

“Sure,sure… you mean your schedule got wrecked,right?”

And hey,it's a fair suspicion.

Because think about it?when they first planned development,they probably said:

“We'll shoot for 100-quality. Based on that,here's our estimated sales. Based on that,here's our budget. Based on that,here's the schedule.”

It's not like halfway through someone goes:

“Wait,let's make it 200-quality! Delay everything!”

Nah,that's not how capitalism works.

But if they're only hitting 80-quality by the deadline…

Yeah,that's gonna hurt the bottom line.

So they delay.

To get from 80 to 100.

So technically... it is a delay to improve quality.

But emotionally? It still feels like a delay because you messed up your homework.

It's... frustrating.

And yet... maybe that frustration is what it means to be an adult.

Climbing those awkward stairs of adulthood… like a confused Cinderella.

After the kiss? You both pretended it never happened.

That was the Showa Kiss Protocol.

But in modern-day Showa?wait,no,Reiwa?times,that kind of stealth smooching is a huge no-no.

Nowadays,you need clear,contractual-level consent just to lock lips.

Something like:

“I'd like to initiate a kiss. A kiss is defined as the act of pressing one's lips against another's,also known as a ‘seppun' or ‘kuchizuke.' Please sign below.”

But even that's not enough.

You still have to define the parameters:

How long will the kiss last? (float duration)

Tongue involved? (boolean insertTongue = true)
